From Managing Director of Ignite Doug Witt
Opening a new state is an awesome experience. Naturally, we all thought the Ignite Opportunity would have a great reception in Pennsylvania. But frankly, we could hardly have imagined the unbelievable turnout at events, the large volume of new Associates and the amazing customer gathering efforts that we’ve experienced. It’s only been a few short weeks but the momentum is building at a fever pitch. Pennsylvanians definitely like the idea of getting paid when people pay their energy bills.
Like people everywhere, Pennsylvanians are looking for an opportunity that can help enhance their lifestyles or in some cases turn their lives around. They certainly realize what a great opportunity energy deregulation represents and that Ignite is the “Proven Power” by which to take advantage of it.
I couldn’t help note the turnout for the first corporate Pennsylvania meeting was nearly identical to the first corporate meeting in Texas. And we all know what came of that original meeting nearly five years ago. My point is the launch of Pennsylvania today represents the same kind of financial opportunity for both those in the room and throughout Ignite as for those fortunate original few. You may not have been there then but you are now, so take the action today to avoid any future regret.
The momentum we have with Pennsylvania onboard is clearly exciting Associates everywhere. And some might be wondering how they can help us throw even more fuel on the roaring blaze. The answer is for all to build like crazy toward the launch event on December 4 in Philadelphia: Ignite Pennsylvania – Launchpad to Your Dreams. I can assure you Pennsylvania has never seen anything like what we will deliver. This event will culminate the Pre-Launch Phase and keep the blaze burning strong as we move into 2011 on a high note.
We are “Breaking Boundaries.”

“A Big Difference Starts Small” campaign includes
Holiday Toy Drive, Diaper Drive and New Year’s Eve Fireworks at Victory Park
Stream Energy, the largest network marketer of energy in America, has announced expansion of the firm’s partnership with Captain Hope’s Kids, a charitable organization which meets the critical needs of homeless children in the North Texas area.
As part of its commitment, Stream Energy unveiled a campaign, “A Big Difference Starts Small.” Stream Energy Chairman Rob Snyder announced that the initiative will include an extension of the company’s spring 2010’s record-setting diaper drive and the holiday seasonal Toy Drive. Additional initiatives will be announced soon.
To give greater visibility of the work of Captain Hope’s Kids, the organization’s Executive Director Jeanne Reyer will join Rob Snyder in helping to launch the Stream Energy-sponsored spectacular fireworks display climaxing the New Year’s Eve Big D NYE. The celebration at Victory Park in Dallas will air live on WFAA, Channel 8 December 31st.
“New Year’s Eve is a celebration of renewal and hope,” said Rob Snyder. “We are very proud to draw deserved attention to Captain Hope’s Kids, which in 2009 touched the lives of 32,000 children from homeless families.” He continued, “Families with children make up 47 percent of the homeless population in the Dallas metropolitan area. Captain Hope’s Kids provides needed goods and services to these unfortunates – and Stream Energy is going to help.” Captain Hope’s Kids works with 40 service providers to provide basic items to homeless mothers and their children.
One featured segment and one commercial sponsored by Stream Energy highlighting the work of the 20-year old non-profit organization will air on WFAA, Channel 8, during the New Year’s Eve program.

As any Ignite Associate will tell you, our market entry efforts into Pennsylvania have been simply terrific. We are seeing the Ignite opportunity grow at an exponential pace and I for one am well pleased with the success that our new Associates in Pennsylvania are already experiencing. I know this is just the beginning of an amazing run this winter, and beyond.
However, our Pennsylvania expansion is just one aspect of what I expect to be a truly memorable holiday season for our Stream Energy and Ignite family. It is in this regard that I am sharing today the launching a new partnership initiative that is sure to make a positive impact.
Please know that Stream Energy & Ignite are partnering again this holiday season with a non-profit organization called Captain Hope’s Kids.
For those of you unaware, Captain Hope’s Kids is a 20-year old group dedicated towards providing basic necessities to the most vulnerable people in our society – namely, homeless children and infants. In North Texas alone, there are roughly 1,100 children in homeless and domestic violence shelters on any given night – and Captain Hope’s Kids responds to their critical needs.
To support CHK in its mission, Stream Energy is launching a program called “A Big Difference Starts Small” — with the first event of which being a Stream Energy-Ignite toy drive. We are asking all Ignite Associates for their personal participation in this event.
From November 22 until December 10, we are collecting new, unwrapped toys at our Stream Energy-Ignite corporate office in Dallas for donation to Captain Hope’s Kids. During this campaign, we will have toy drive receptacles set up in our offices and invite you to bring a new, unwrapped toy with you when you attend one of our Dallas or Atlanta corporate Business Presentations (or even when you simply stop by for a visit).
For the holiday season of 2009, know that Stream Energy broke Captain Hope’s charity record with 1,711 toys donated, thus helping over 800 children. We are striving to smash all previous toy donation records. With the combined strength of our corporate and field family members, we can do it.
